KiwiMill was asked to create this Fishing Reel Display Model for trade show use. The display uses the exploded view concept to show off the technology that resides inside the reel.

Our model makers carefully took apart the real product and painstakingly mounted the parts using a client supplied drawing. Some of the parts were very tiny. Some of the parts were made of hardened steel that could not be drilled through. Piano wire was used to mount the pieces, giving the illusion of the parts floating in air.

The final layout design of the Fishing Reel Display Model was approved by our client and carefully packed in a bed of rice to preserve the delicately suspended parts.
